This blog is designed and created as a requirement for ED 107 (Principles and methods of teaching) under Professor Ava Clare Marie O. Robles, Ph.D. It is the purpose of this blog to introduce the existence of Educational Web Tool, the different educational web tools and their main functions and benefits in Education.

Education seems to be evolving as new theories, philosophies, principles and ideas emerges. The process of teaching and learning changes as time goes by, and the use of technology in learning process were one of these examples. Technology is considered today to be one of the tools or cell that constructs effective learning process. Now, these changes may be a bit confusing. Maybe we would ask of why do education need changes. But, put in mind that it is the main purpose of education to create a most effective way of learning, and changes in education indicates that there are new emerging ideas and principles that could create a very much more effective learning process.

Internet is one of the examples of this technology advancement. Most people consider internet for gathering information, entertainment, social networking and some other stuff. Now, internet has been found to be of great purpose in education. The web, which is accessed through internet, created a new face in the learning process. Documents and multimedia’s found in web, served as tools in this generation of education and has been brought more access for a wider range of learning. These tools were considered and called as Educational Web Tools.
